Chet

This is my spot on the website. Here you can read the story of how I tricked Kneecoal into dating me ( I know you have wondered)! You also get to read a little information about me:

bulletI'm the youngest of 5 children
bulletI'm the only boy
bulletI work as an RN in Stephens County Hospital ER
bulletI have worked EMS in Franklin County for 15 years
bulletI'm working on my Master's Degree in nursing (FNP)

So what do I do in my spare time? Ha! I never have spare time. With work, school and teaching classes I hardly ever have a day off. At work I am the chairman of the staff development committee. That only takes one day a quarter, but I have to work on a few projects related to the committee. I have recently be appointed to the hospital's EMTALA committee. We haven't met so I'm not sure how much time this will take.

I also teach several classes at the hospital. I teach several BLS classes per year. I also am the PALS coordinator for Stephens county which takes a lot of time in planning and actually teaching the classes. We have 3 classes per year with about 25 students per class. I just complete my ACLS instructor a few months ago, and will start teaching in a couple of months. Tommy Small, MSN, CFNP is our ACLS. I just taught my first TNCC class and I guess we will host about two TNCC classes per year. Sharon Mason, MSN, CFNP is our TNCC coordinator. Lets see... BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC... I think that is all. I really enjoy this part of my job. I love to teach these classes.

When I do get some time off I enjoy spending time with my family. I'm a real homebody. With Kneecoal on bed rest  I just kick back in my chair and surf the net, work on school work, or work on the web page.

With Jordan's new sports interest I have been getting out every day and practicing soccer with her. I'm glad she has enjoyed soccer because it gives us something to get out and do together.
